Community Noticeboard : New Items Added (For Sale / Wanted)

Quiz Night

Well it was a great night, all those that didn’t come missed a treat. Around 40 quizzers attended and the quiz itself was absolutely brilliant thanks to Mr Quiz himself, John Thompson.
There was some exitement too as Anne White & Geoff Walker, who went to get the pies (for the pie & peas – and all for a fiver!), were standing outside the butcher’s shop in Norton where the pies were clearly not in the oven and the door was locked! Plan B was to go to Morrisons but they saw a Fish & Chip shop right next door. The chippie owner said I’ve only got 50, do you want them?
Anyway Anne & Geoff, the heroes of the hour, arrived back at the Villlage Hall, only 1/2 hour late and we tucked in.

Blue Bag – use new bigger blue bag for PAPER and CARDBOARD (abandon small blue bag!)
Black Box – for GLASS (used to go in green box so that will be confusing)
