Boden Party – This Thursday

Come along to the Village Hall in Sand Hutton to see, touch, try on and buy Boden’s Summer Range. There is 20% off everything!

Please join us at 3.30pm for early doors viewing or later at 7.30pm this Thursday. There will be refreshments available and all proceeds will go to Sand Hutton Primary School.

See you there.

Tai Chi Club – Starting Next Week

Tai Chi Club

A new club in the village hall is to begin.

If you are interested in seeing whether this gentle form of exercise suits you, please come along and “give it a go”. I shall be running taster sessions and then hopefully find a day and time to suit everyone.

This ancient form of exercise is suitable for all ages and both sexes! No need to be fit – you just “go with the flow” and do each exercise to your own level of ability.

The taster sessions will be on Tuesday April 21st 9-10am and Wednesday April 22nd 6-7pm.

Please contact Anne White (468550) if you would like any more information, or if you are interested but cannot make either of these dates, so that we can arrange another time.

The taster sessions will be free and thereafter there will be a minimal charge (tbc).

Saturday Social

Two further reasons for calling in at the Village Hall this Saturday!
The chosen charity this time is Ryedale Special Families – a very special charity founded * to help children and their families. Come and find out more about them, and bring the “Penny Pots” filled to help them do more.

If you have a jigsaw puzzle that you’re tired of doing, bring it along and swap for a different one.
Oh, and then there’s the Annual Parish Meeting at 12 noon for all local residents to air their views.

* CORRECTION: Whilst Rachel Baker was heavily involved in the early days of Ryedale Special Families, she has asked us to point out that she was NOT the founder of this local charity.  We apologise for any misunderstanding and have corrected the entry accordingly.

Spring Saturday Social

Don’t forget next Saturday 18 April for the Spring Saturday Social in the village hall between 10.30am and 12.30.

The ladies of our WI will be selling home baked scrumptious cakes and biscuits once again. Find out what’s going on in the village hall and local clubs plus the community library will also be open. All this and delicious refreshments too, what’s not to like?

We hope to see you all on Saturday!

Bin Collection Calendar

Not perhaps the most exciting topic but the bin collection calendar is useful!
