Pair of as new navy waterproof trousers. Rolled up, they look as if they have fallen off a bike.

I will leave them in the green bin at the rear of the carport at 1 Whinny Lane.

Pop Up Cafe for Macmillan @ Sand Hutton School

There will be a pop up cafe at Sand Hutton School tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd September) between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Please call in for a cup of tea and of course CAKE all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Everyone welcome – you don’t have to be school age!

Ryedale Book Festival

Then head to Malton 10-11th October for the 4th Ryedale Book Festival. The programme includes nearly 40 quality literary events to suit all readers and appreciators of The Arts. Highlights include a lunch with Clare Morpurgo, a workshop with book sculptress Su Blackwell, comedy from poet John Hegley, a celebration of Yorkshire life with Amanda Owen “The Yorkshire Shepherdess” and for children there is the chance to meet Charlie & Lola creator – Lauren Child.
