Fishes and a Tank – free to a Good Home!

As my daughter will be going to University shortly, she will not be taking her fish tank and l wondered if any small children or adults would like the pleasure of their company?
The tank has an electric water pump and a few decorations and there are 3 cold water fish;
one cloud minnow and two plecs.

Saturday Socials are always great events at which to have a cup of coffee and meet up with friends, meet your Parish Councillors and find out about local groups and activities. You can buy local products and help a charity with donations of spare small change.

• Delicious cakes from W.I. ladies
• Olga Sliacka’s stall; Olga is a local craft-maker specialising in items made from recycled material
• Bring any spare crops of veg & flowers, to sell or swap, and spare jam jars for beginners to try jamming
• Swap jigsaws and books
• “Dress Swap”: bring up to 3 items of clothing/jewellery/handbags to exchange for something new to you
• Table top swap shop: bring along those small but useful items you don’t need but someone else might (unused e.g. printer cartridges or in good condition)

Children’s Storytelling Event at Scampston

A Sunday of storytelling at Scampston, 21st August 2016, 1pm-4pm. A summer afternoon to celebrate classic children’s tales. Join us and the Ryedale Book Festival team for a Sunday afternoon of children’s storytelling in the gardens.
