Green Finger Tips Gardening Club: 7.30pm Thursday October 6th

The next Green Finger Tips Gardening Club meeting on October the 6th promises to be fascinating and a bit unusual! Peter and Helleentje Walker have always loved plants, with a special interest in unusual and exotic varieties. Then a few years ago, in Whitby, they came across a nursery selling pitcher plants and caught the carnivorous bug!

They now have a small North Yorkshire nursery, where they grow Carnivorous plants for sale, there and on line, and for display and sale at shows in Yorkshire and further afield. Their nursery is Wack’s Wicked Plants and they can be contacted via www.wackswickedplants.co.uk. They’ve already won a gold medal at the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show and’ best in show’ awards at Driffield and Stokesley.

On the 6th Peter will be talking about and displaying Carnivorous plants and will have some for sale…..novel Christmas presents!?

We look forward to seeing all members, their guests and anyone interested in joining at 7.30 pm on Thursday 6th October.

Please visit http://h4cd.weebly.com/ for further details, or contact me directly at delton@urbanarea.co.uk to register for a site visit this coming weekend, Saturday 24th September.
