Ryedale Shutterbugs (Photo Group) Meeting this Wednesday

The newly formed Ryedale Shutterbugs Photography Group will be meeting for a  Brickponds PhotoWalk this Wednesday (8th August) at 7.30pm

The plan is to take a gentle, dry (hopefully) evening stroll around the brick ponds at Claxton and capture some wooded wildlife, plants and water, as well as some of the history including the old water pump windmill. The forecast is for a dry sunny day and so we should be in for good conditions (fingers-crossed) in the evening.
Please wear good outdoor shoes as it is likely to be muddy around the ponds. Some insect repellent may also be a good idea to keep the other bugs at bay (?) Philip Orton is coming along and knows a good deal about the history of the area including the old brickworks, the remains of which are quite visible and very interesting. If you are planning to join us (all welcome) or are interested in joining the group please drop me a quick email amfawcett@gmail.com so i know who to expect on the night.
