Are there any keen amateur photographers out there? Want to improve and share your photography skills in a friendly environment? If so, i am looking at setting up a local photo group. The following are some initial ideas around what the Group would/might/could do :
- Share Information, Experience and Tips for Better Photography
- Organise Local Photo Walks and visits to sites of interest
- Invite Guest Speakers / Organise ‘Show and Tell’ Sessions
- Create a Gallery of Local Interest Photos (show them on the website or maybe even publish a book!)
- Help other local groups and clubs by doing some pics for them
- Discuss Equipment and Techniques, web resources, software etc.
- Organise Competitions and Photo Challenges
- Share Equipment
- Have fun !
I’d expect to meet around once a month, maybe slightly more frequently in the summer months.
